The Dargah Committee is a body constituted by the Govt. of India, under the provisions of the Dargah Khwaja Saheb Act, 1955. It controls and manages affairs of Dargah Sharif and the Dargah Endowments. The following services are performed by this committee regularly:

1.Arrangements of Urs of Khwaja saheb and his Peer-o- Murshid every year.

2.Providing Sandal, flowers and candles for the Holy Shrine.

3.Providing free Langar twice a day. If devotees desire for cooking langar on their behalf, it is arranged on depositing Rs.800/- for one time.

4. Providing water for drinking and wazu.

5. Regular maintenance repairing and renovation of Dargah Sharif and its endowments.

6. Salary to staff and perquisite to hereditary staff.

7. Stipend to widows, orphans and help to poor and needy.

8. Arrangements of Unani and Homeopathic dispensary and supply of free medicines.

9. Scholarship to needy and deserving students of medical / engineering and other courses.

10. Education:-

a) Maintenance of Darul Uloom Moinia Usmania.

b) Running of Khwaja Model School. (English Medium)

c) Coaching center for Competitive Examinations.

11. Burial of unclaimed dead bodies.

12. Future Project:-

a) For construction of new Guest House: building has been purchased in the vicinity of present Guest House.

b) Establishment of Gharib Nawaz Technical Institute to impart job oriented technical education to minority community specially in the field of computer.

c) Beautification of Dargah Sharif.

d) Improvement of farm at village Kayar.

e) Improvement of water system in Dargah Sharif and guest house.

Devotees of Khwaja Saheb who wish to take part in these noble and benevolent causes may do by putting their contribution in the green boxes placed at different places inside the Dargah sharif or deposit cash in office of the Nazim and obtain receipt.We also accept M.O. and Demand Draft drawn in favour of Nazim Dargah Khwaja Saheb payable at Ajmer. Donations are exempted under section 80 (G) (2) (b) of Income Tax Act, 1961 in the hands of donors.

APPEAL

          The Committee continues to strive for providing better and better facilities to the devotees and for extending the area of its charitable and welfare activities amongst the needy and the poor. For all these projects the Dargah Committee does not receive any grant-in-aid from any Government. The Committee has its own funds and its main source of income is the rentals from the properties / endowment of Dargah and the voluntary contributions and donations from the devotees.
          The Dargah Committee therefore, appeals to lend generous help in rendering better services to the devotees of the Great Chishty Saint. Donations can be sent through Money Order, Postal order, Bank Draft or Cheque drawn in favour of Nazim, Dargah Khwaja Sahab, Ajmer or money could be dropped in Green Boxes placed at different points in Dargah premises.
          The donations sent through Money Order, Postal Orders, Bank Drafts or Cheques are duly acknowledged. The receipts are also issued for the donations made in  cash in the Dargah Office at Ajmer. The Committee assures that every single paisa given to the Dargah Committee is legitimately utilized for the cause of Dargah Endowment and providing amenities to the devotees. Donations so made are exempted under section 88 G (2)(b) of Income Tax Act 1961 vide notification S.O. 1974 dated. 01.06.1965. The Dargah Committee’s accounts are subject to periodical audits by the Comptroller and Auditor General of India. As per Section14(I)of Dargah Khwaja Sahab Act, 1955, the Nazim or any person authorized by him in this behalf can solicit and receive on behalf of Dargah any Nazar or Offerings. No person, other than the Nazim ( or any person authorized by him in this behalf) shall receive or be entitled to receive nazars or offerings on behalf of the Dargah.
